The Paint Group
The Paint Group was formed to provide a friendly, informal and regular space for society members to drop in and work in the company of other artists.
Thursdays
at the
Alton Maltings
The Paint Group meets at the Alton Maltings Centre from
1 - 5pm on Thursdays.
Find us in the Wilberforce room which is situated directly below the café, at the Alton Maltings, Maltings Close, Alton, Hants, GU34 1DT. There is free onsite parking and a lift between floors.
Cost is just £5 per session which covers room hire and some biscuits!

Allen Gallery
The painting group has held a number of very successful retrospective exhibitions at the Allen Gallery in Alton.
These exhibitions showcased the varied interests and artwork of the members of the Alton Art Society Paint Group, from portrait to landscape, from still life to painting en plein air, in various media.
Alongside the artwork on the walls there was a selection of cards and folios available to purchase.
