Haven’t sent out an update for a couple of months and haven’t seen some of you for a while so thought it time to do one.
Our weekly attendance is averaging 6, 4 below our break-even point. Despite the fact that summer hasn’t yet arrived I know many of you have already taken holidays. Fortunately the AAS Committee have agreed to support us through the summer months.
Please note that we take a summer break during August returning on Thursday 12th September after the schools have gone back. I will be sending out our Lead Rota for September through to December 2024 shortly.
Can I remind you that the deadline for sending in up to three paintings for the Centenary 2025 Calendar competition is 31st July 2024. Please send your JPEG files to Margaret Crowe at altonarttreasurer@gmail.com.
When we return after the summer break we must start preparing for our 2025 Exhibition at the Allen Gallery next February.
Lastly, don’t forget that the Society’s annual October Exhibition is not far away.
We have three TPG sessions left before the summer break; 11th, 18th and 25th July hope to see you all soon.
