The Alton Art Society had a very successful opening of their Annual Exhibition on Friday 6th October by The Mayor of Alton, Cllr. Ben Hamlin.
Chairman Annabel Young began by thanking Ben for taking time out of his busy schedule to open the exhibition and also thanked everyone involved with the setting up of the exhibition, too many to mention individually.
There was a great turn out and many remarks of admiration for the standard of art this year.
